The festival of Purim is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar, commemorating the triumph of the Jewish people over an attempted genocide in ancient Persia. 2,300 years later, it has evolved into a day dedicated to making other people's day.
Gift baskets called mishloach manot are traditionally given, featuring Purim's most famous cookies called hamantaschen, or "Haman's pockets," referring to vizier Haman whose genocidal plot was foiled. Traditionally, hamantaschen are filled with plum or poppyseed paste.
While we still make the traditional favorites, we've stepped it up a notch with exciting new flavors like Apple, Strawberry Pistachio, Cappuccino Pecan, and Lemon Lavender.
